Sanmi Olukanmi is Reimaging Mobility in Africa!
An experienced Founder with a demonstrated history of working in the automotive industry
Sanmi Olukanmi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Shekel Mobility, a company that is enabling the purchasing power of SMEs in emerging automotive markets through systemized embedded financing in Africa.
Sanmi was a member of the W23 cohort of Y Combinator; however, he was not accepted on his first attempt. He believed that YC wanted to see more traction and see if his company was the “real deal” before being accepted. Clearly they are!
The way Shekel Mobility works:
a car dealer will find a deal with a customer, while Sanmi and his team do a background check and make sure the valuation is correct.
Following this, the car dealer will contribute about 30% equity while Shekel Mobility contributes the rest. From there the car will be placed under Shekel’s name.
Shekel Mobility understands the challenge of car selling and is proud to say that they have ZERO defaults up to date.
