Michelle Marcelline is living the dream at Typedream
The story of Michelle, who nearly got deported from the U.S. while chasing her dream.
Michelle Marcelline is a non-technical, immigrant founder from Indonesia that built Typedream, a no-code website builder. She was part of the Y Combinator W20 cohort and was also recognized on Forbes 30U30 for 2022.
Michelle moved to the U.S. in 2015 for college and immediately met her 4 co-founders in the first computer science class she took! Upon graduation, Michelle and her 4 colleagues decided to quit their day-jobs and pursue ‘the dream’ of Typedream full-time.
Typedream is a website where you can build web pages, customize them, and even connect your existing database without code (similar to WordPress & Squarespace).
Her company specifically targets ‘no-code’ people with zero knowledge in coding!
