It was a pleasure to welcome Arosha Brouwer, the CEO and Co-Founder of Quan, an end-to-end platform that improves wellness through holistic self assessment. Quan provides insights for working individuals, teams, and organisations through employee evaluations that cover the five dimensions of well being, including the Body, the mind, and self fulfilment. These tests match these individuals with proven suitable interventions to structurally improve well being in the workplace.
Arosha was inspired to start Quan after spending many years researching why some companies are better innovators than others. After flying to the United States and interacting directly with 25 leaders of startup scales and large tech companies, she noticed that these organisations handled the “the people function” the same way as “the product function” — using perks and psychology to develop strong methods of working. However, over the pandemic, away from these perks, Arosha had the epiphany that this system solely focused on the best way of working rather than understanding how people are and what tools they need to achieve wellness.
Quan’s mission is to “demystify the world of well-being for both organizations and individuals by breaking down the science, increasing self-awareness and guiding both teams and individuals through self-care steps designed to improve well-being in quantified ways.”
Arosha nominates Karthik Mahadevan, founder and CEO of Envision, for a future episode and shares advice for new founders.
